Let an AI agent run your shop, and keep the last word

An AI agent can already do real work on an online store. Claude has a built-in Wix connector that can apply a discount to every product in a shop, email contacts and publish pages. Shopify stores are reached the same way, through the Admin API or an MCP server that wraps it, by agents that answer customers, tidy product listings and chase refunds.
Most of that work is fine to leave alone. Rewriting a product description is cheap to undo. Some of it is not: a refund has left the account, a discount code has been shared, and a price change has been seen by every visitor by the time anyone notices it was a typo.
The moments worth a second look
For most shops, the list is short:
- Refunds, above an amount you choose.
- Price changes, especially cuts of more than a few percent.
- Discount codes, and sales applied to the whole catalogue.
- Bulk product edits, where one wrong field is wrong a thousand times.
- Emails to customers, which cannot be unsent.
Everything else, the agent just does.
How it works with Deliverd
Deliverd is the step where an agent asks a person before it acts. The agent sends the request, the right person gets it in Slack, Teams or email, they approve or reject it in a tap, and the agent carries on with their answer. Every decision is kept, with who made it and when.
If the agent is Claude, or another AI assistant. Add Deliverd alongside the store's own connector over MCP, or run npx deliverd setup to connect it to every AI tool on your machine at once. Then give the agent one standing instruction:
Before any discount, price change, refund, bulk product edit or email to customers on the store, ask for approval with Deliverd and wait for the answer.
That is the whole setup. The agent keeps doing the everyday work by itself, and stops at the five moments above.
If you are building the agent or a store app yourself. Put one call in front of the Admin API call, with the TypeScript SDK:
import { deliverd } from "@deliverd/sdk";
const decision = await deliverd.approve({
title: "Refund order #1042 (€240)",
description: "Customer says the parcel arrived damaged. Photos attached to the order.",
externalId: "refund-1042",
});
if (decision.approved) await refundOrder("1042");
The externalId means a restarted agent picks up the same request rather than asking twice.
Why not just ask in chat?
You can, and for one person running one shop it may be enough. It stops being enough when the agent works at night, when a refund should go to whoever is on shift rather than to the founder, or when you need to show later who approved a price change and why. That is the part Deliverd keeps: who may decide what, how long a request waits, and the record of every answer.
Shopify and Wix are now on the Integrations page in Deliverd, under Online stores, alongside everything else it works with. If you run a shop with an agent and want this to be one click inside Shopify or Wix rather than a setup step, tell us. That is exactly what decides what we build next.
